Reiki is a Japanese healing method. The word comes from two Japanese words, Rei and Ki, meaning Universal Life Force. Reiki is the channeling of Universal Energy (Life Force) for the purposes of healing.

Reiki is a safe, non-invasive energy healing system.It supports the body’s own healing abilities by strengthening and balancing the flow of energy throughout the different body systems. All animals recognize and appreciate Reiki’s ability to heal. Many learn to seek it out on their own.

Reiki always works to the highest good for the animal, and it goes directly to the source of the problem most in need of healing. No harm can result from any Reiki treatment. It heals at all levels and can be used for any issue an animal may have. Many times animals will respond more quickly to Reiki than people do, and positive results are usually seen quickly.

For healthy pets, Reiki treatments help maintain a healthy state, but enhances overall well-being.
For sick pets, Reiki helps heal at the deepest levels and is a safe complement to Western medicine. Reiki helps reduce side effects of other treatments as well.

Reki is especially effective for emotional pain and distress by assisting animals to let go of past negative experiences and memories. This can ease the transition of newly adopted rescue or shelter animals into their new homes.
